Belwood Lodge and Camp is excited to welcome all people that have interest in working with people with disabilities. We know that everyone has different life experiences, and with that different knowledge. We encourage our staff to learn from one another, and when there is something you don't know always ask!
Staff Member
Staff members work across camp doing a variety of different jobs both directly working with our campers and lodgers and indirectly working with them. No matter your skills there is a place for you!

Counsellor in Training (CIT)
If you are a person who is interested in working with people with disabilities but are wanting to gain some confidence and further skills before potentially becoming a full staff member, this is the stream for you! Our CIT stream provides extra support and training to give you the most skills and confidence when working with our population.
Student Placement
College and University programs often have a placement component these days! We are here to support you in that. We have experience providing placements and co-op's for people in programs such as PSW, psychology, Recreation and Leisure studies, ect. If this is something you have interest in please reach out.
