Ken Catteau, President

Ken is the retired owner of Mister Transmission, Guelph and is a past-president of the Kiwanis Club of Guelph. His support of camp is long-standing.

Andrew Munro, Vice-President

Andrew is a retired banker living in Toronto.  He was drawn to the volunteer role at Belwood following his father and in the interest of his brother and other Belwood lodgers.  

NUMBERS GUY

Logan Reaume, Treasurer

Logan is a CPA and Senior Accountant with Baker Tilly in Elora. Logan had no prior affiliation with Belwood, but upon learning about the unique and incredibly valuable experience the camp offers to its lodgers, was thrilled to offer his services on the board. He's since become fond of the camp and hopes to use his profession towards the benefit of our awesome lodgers.

Cathy Bruder, Secretary

Cathy is a special needs support worker for the Upper Grand District School Board. She spent many years working at camp and transitioned to her position on the board because of her passion for camp and our campers.

KIWANIS REP.

Janice Bacon

Janice is the current president of Kiwanis Guelph. She is an investment advisor with CIBC Wood Gundy, Guelph and recently joined our Board because of her special interest in the camp that Kiwanis continues to support.

LODGER PARENT

Rima Al Salah

Rima Alsalah is a disability advocate with a background as an Educational Behavioural Therapist. Rima believes strongly that having a recreational outlet and safe space refuge is imperative to leading a flourishing quality of life. This is why she is a proud mom of a long term lodger.

Sally Gunz, Member

Sally is retired from the University of Waterloo. She learned of Belwood through her children who were camp employees. They demonstrated the very positive change working with our community made to their lives.

Laura Clarke

Laura is a Senior Policy and Program Analyst at the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. She worked at Camp Belwood for six summers throughout her school years and continues to volunteer each summer because of her love for camp and all of the amazing lodgers who attend. Camp Belwood is also a very special place to Laura and her family as her aunt Dorothy, who has Down Syndrome, attended Camp Belwood for over 45 years.

Chris Crisman-Cox

Chris is a lawyer at Miller Thomson, Guelph, and a member of the estate litigation and family law groups. He joined our board because of his special interest in the rights and needs of people with intellectual disabilities.

CAMP NURSE

Cheri Fitzpatrick

Cheri is a recently retired RN with over 40 years of nursing experience. She is a former camp nurse who chose to come back to serving the camp as a member of our board. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of our community to the board.

Alix Oates

Alix has been involved with Belwood Lodge and Camp for many years- her passion for Camp and our Lodgers has made Alix a staple around Belwood! She brings a wealth of experience in supporting people with disabilities, as well as a thorough knowledge of Camp traditions to the board.

Allison Kissner

Allison is a former public health nurse who recently moved to Stratford and joined us after learning of how much joy camp brings to the life of a young relative. She brings real wisdom in terms of how we manage the good health of campers and staff.

Bev Mackenzie

Bev is a retired physical education teacher from the Toronto District School Board whose daughter has been coming to camp for 21 years. Bev’s professional expertise about the abilities and needs of our campers has allowed us to add real value to programming.
